Ausable River

Found a crazy pike bite with Tyler Johnson and got onto some beefy stocker browns on the Au Sable today. Tried a couple spots on the big lake and got rewarded with 30 mph winds and zero bites.

Pulled off on the side of the road, grabbed my rod, took a few casts and landed two beautiful cliff brownies. My first time ever fishing the Ausable was a success!

Last fish of the night

tossed out a sinker and worm on a size 2 eagle claw double barbed hook with hopes of catching bullhead. reeled in on a 7' medium ugly stik with a shakespeare 5:2:1 reel. fought like a monster fish. released after snapping a pic. first small mouth of the year!

My husband finally just caught a Small mouth bass

I have seen more fish then I have caught but that's okay.
